Rabbi Jerry Keyes, 85, born May 11, 1932 to Morris Keyes and Estelle Brown Keyes in Brooklyn, New York, passed away at his home March 29, 2018 in Ocala, Florida,
Jerry came to Ocala in 1976 His life's work was as a Messianic Rabbi and the teaching of the torah. He was kind hearted and always had time for everyone, young and old.
Survivors include, his wife, Sara Elizabeth; sons, Kraig Aukiewicz of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Mark DiGiugo of Ocala, Florida; daughters, Ashrae Keyes of Ocala, Florida, Lisa Molinski of Ocala, Florida, Amiee Greene of Landing, New Jersey; 12 grandchildren; niece's Paula Meshal of Staten Island, New York and Heather Gartenberg, also of Staten Island, New York.
A Celebration of Life will begin 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in the Chapel of Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 5050 SW 20th Street, Ocala, Florida 34474 (352) 237-2212, with Rabbi Charles Kluge officiating. A Graveside Blessing will immediately follow in the cemetery.
