Gwendolyn Brannen, 94, of Ocala, FL, passed away Nov 1, 2016 at her home, with her family at her side. She was born June 4, 1922 in Cross City, FL to the late William and Loma (Ward) Owen. Gwendolyn was a retired bookkeeper, and worked for Mc Crory’s for 43 years until it closed in 1992. SShe then worked at Wal-Mart for 15 years as a door greeter. She is preceaded in death by her husband Walter B. Brannen; 2 sisters; Ruby Bianco, and Arneida Harris. Gwendolyn is survived by 2 daughters; Beverly (husband Jerry) Anderson; Ann (husband Jerry) Morrow; 3 brothers; W.L. (wife Janice) Owen Jr.; Robert W. Owen; Joseph B. (wife Lana) Owen; 2 sisters; Betty Gregory, Hazel Good; 4 grandchildren; Emery (wife Anita) Scarborough, Stephanie (husband Les) Wade, Eric (wife Melanie) Anderson, Traci (husband Eric)Warner; 9 great grandchildren; Tyler (wife Milena) Wade, Michael (wife Michelle) Scarborough, Ryan Anderson, Hunter Wade, Leslie Wade, Aston Warner, Erica Anderson, Carter Wade, Alex Warner; 1 great grandchild; Ava Scarborough; and 1 more on the way.
