Obituary for Mary Eileen Fonner (Marshall)

Mary Eileen Fonner, 93, of Barnesville, formerly of Ft. McCoy, FL, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Astoria Place of Barnesville. Mary was born on November 22, 1922 in Dallas, WV to the late Elisha Alonza and Edith Jane (Majors) Marshall.

Mary was a Methodist by faith. She was retired from Barnesville Hospital where she worked as a LPN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Fonner; three sisters and four brothers.

Mary is survived by her son, Roger David Fonner of Ft. McCoy, FL; daughter, Tammy (Ron) Cunningham of Quaker City; three grandchildren: Jessica Fraley, Chris Cunningham and Beth (Dallas) Boylen; and five great-grandchildren: Alex, Owen, Makenna, Brenley and Mia.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fonner will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at noon in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the start of the service.
