Earl C. Pierpont, Jr., 94, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on August 17, 2016.

Earl was born in Cable, Ohio on March 23, 1922. He was married 56 years to his wife Joy Pierpont. As a WWII veteran, he served proudly in the US Navy before becoming the Director of Radiology at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. In 1977 Earl retired to Florida and started building residential homes. He attended Central Church of Christ in Ocala, FL.

Earl is survived by his wife, Ruying Pierpont, son, Earl C. Pierpont, III, daughter, Carol Martineau and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11am, Thursday, August 25 at Roberts Funeral Home in Ocala, Florida with visitation preceding the service at 10am. Burial will follow the funeral at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, Florida.
